Armenia’s agricultural sector faced compounding challenges in data-driven farming, online management, e-commerce, and food production efficiency, pressures further sharpened by the disruptions of COVID-19.

Building on the ANAU AgTech incubator, we ran a 10-week pre-incubation and acceleration program that combined technical mentorship, business support, network access, and funding to take a generation of Armenian agritech startups from idea to demo day.

The accelerator wrapped up in October 2020 with Demo Day. Winning startups (SmarTerev, FoodHub, Agrosko, and Green Land) went on to develop their solutions for Armenia’s agricultural sector.
