Parents-to-be and new parents in Armenia struggle to find accessible, evidence-based, and culturally adapted information on pregnancy, maternal health, and early childhood development. Health services are fragmented and largely undigitized, leaving families to navigate critical decisions with incomplete information.

We co-designed BarevBalik with parents, pediatricians, OB-GYNs, and the Ministry of Health to consolidate trusted maternal and child health information into a single mobile-first experience, adapted to the realities of Armenian families and the structure of the national health system.

• A unified mobile platform delivering evidence-based prenatal, postnatal, and pediatric content
• Health tracking tools for pregnant women and newborns
• A financial support eligibility tool that connects families to entitlements
• A nearby services locator that maps the closest care
• Pilot of a digitalized vaccination service aligned with the National Immunization Program

A live platform and mobile app already in use by Armenian families, integrated with the National Immunization Program pilot and laying the foundation for a more digital, family-centered health system.
